I just played the demo
I notice that the games do start shorter and easy
But I also notice that the bottom screen is extremely strict with timing now, the majority of my playtime with the demo was all latest and earlies and this really fucking bothers me
Especially since I only ever got skill star once

The timing is still the same, you just never noticed how bad you were because there was no indicator of the EXACT timing like there is now
Loving playing it again now that it's out in English. When I played it first I didn't realize that there were more than the first set of challenges since I can't read jp and I blew all my coins getting my goat up to ridiculous levels. Trying not to waste the money this time but there's still that one hard challenge I could never clear on the jp version too.
I love that they did dual audio on this. Kinda surprised since I had to import a PAL copy of the wii game to get dual audio.

It's not strict. It's accurate, and still insanely forgiving. Hit it on the beat, you get the most points. If you're offbeat the whole time, you still get 80+ points as long as you don't miss anything.

Megamix got a lot of things right, but messed up other things in new and exciting ways. I enjoy its "plot", but I can see how it would get annoying if you can't skip it. It might've worked better if Tibby was taken out and instead the various themed characters just rambled at you for a bit before introducing the next set of games.

Problem is, the minigames are more lengthy and harder in relation to the minigames at the start. They're the same compared to the first minigames in the first 3 Rhythm Heaven games, so it feels casualized as fuck even for a casual series like this. They only truly get more difficult when you reach the final 3 towers.
At least the challenges mix things up.

Okay, I got every Skill Star in the main game just now. I need to begin collecting enough Flow Balls for the extra games. I have a few questions, though.
I know you need every Challenge on the Challenge Train completed forRhythmWareand I'm curious on how much of a fucking hassle it's going to be to unlock it. Has anyone here done it?
Also, does the tutorial's Skill Star count towards the Skill Star badge or no?
