$35, they're on the stock 10GB drive while running UnleashX and come with a controller and composite A/V cables, thrift stores are flooded with them every couple months it feels like, and they sell for $5-8 each
I also state how I've replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the console and DVD drives out, but always get sub-$20 lowballs in broken English 50% of the time

The whole PC>Console thing for gaming started in the 360's generation. When CPUs and GPUs were getting increasingly more powerful and cheaper. My the time the 8th gen started, consoles had absolutely nothing to offer. They were just less powerful PCs with a low bang for your buck. The removal of local multiplayer killed consoles for me.

The drop off in exclusives actually partially had to do with Sega and other jap devs not renewing their deal with MS. Also the Jap people at MS fucked up royally and dropped the ball in an interview for RE4 where it could have been an exclusive.

you don't need to hack it again you merely clone the original one, which is already hacked with a program called Chimp.
the gamecube controller is just a redesigned n64 controller, which had an antiquated design even during its generation with the advent of dual stick gameplay. how anyone can seriously consider the gamecube controller superior is beyond me. it's fine if you prefer it but to claim it's superior in any way is outright delusion.
the ps2 also had shitty sticks, which was far more important in its generation than the dpad so it is also inferior.
