I'm thinking about buying a refurbished orange GBA. For an additional $7 I can also buy a backlight. Has anyone had an experience putting one of these in? Is it difficult? Does it work well enough to warrant the purchase?

I owned two of these once. They were shit. Either mod a backlight, get a later handheld like the PSP, use a Gamecube gameboy player, or just emulate on your PC. You can't see anything on the original model!

EZ 3-in-1 or EZ Flash IV. I heard the older ones were rarer than shinies. I had a 3-in-1 and it worked like a charm until I had to solder a new battery (and ruined it because I can't solder.). Should last about a year or two.
