Is it worth copping one of these for emulators and PC games if I already have a wired 360 controller?
No, though I do think the xbone controller is more comofrtable then the 360 controller
but not by so much that it's worth buying one when you have a working 360 one

I'd say yeah, the build quality feels alot nicer and the trigger vibration is pretty cool.
Plus you can get one that doesn't work wirelessly for $20 off ebay like I did.

Yes, if you like playing classic/retro games. 360 Dpad is shit.
Once you have one it replaces the 360 controller in every way desu, I'll never go back.
For 2d games or only requiring extensive d pad use just get a retro controller with an adaptor. The xbone dpad is an improvement but still inferior to a standard oldshool controller like snes or Saturn

its literally the exact same controller as a 360 but with a much improved Dpad
so yes its an upgrade. I have 2 personally since i bought a bone.

Only if you can get a newer model.
Older models have notoriously poor build quality and are prone to breaking in some way shape or form.
Yes, get a PC wireless adapter too it works great on my rig.

If your 360 controller still works, no reason.
If it's starting to show age or you really want a better D-Pad, get the Xbone controller.

I got one for PC. the thumb sticks are way better then the 360 ones
are these things ever going to drop to non retarded prices?
My friend got a One controller and has been having nothing but trouble with it, I'm afraid to move up. Is there a way to use the bone controller wired? I hate wireless controllers.

I have a 'retro' controller (a snes one) but the dpad reads as a joystick which is stupid as fuck. Is there a better retro controller I can get?
>>342666991
yes, but its not like old the 360 controllers where the wire is actually in the controller. the wired bone controllers use microusb shit on the controller for the wire to go out to a full usb port on your pc. you're actually better off to get the wireless dongle.
