The Triforce was Shattered into 3 when Ganondorf touched it, those of an impure heart cannot make a wish, Ganondorf attempted to do so and it resulted in the Triforce being split between himself, Link and Zelda.
Ganondorf was a bad guy in OoT, he mellows out in WW but in OoT he was brash, foolhardy, and when he achieved dominion over Hyrule he did NOTHING to help the Gerudo, having been overcome by his lust for power and his mad search for Zelda and Link, rather than y'know, rebuilding Castle Town and moving the Gerudo in there where they could live in plenty instead of dying in a desert.

Whenever I go round to my parents house I play Windwaker HD with my little brother in a co-op mode we came up with.

I think he's Ganondorf solely because he looks too much like him for it to be a simple coincidence, whereas the only thing he has in common with the King is the beard. SS had the worst choice of girls, generic waifu Zelda and boring robot Fi. Peatrice was its only shining light. TP had Midna who could bring the bantz and Telma's telmas but Ilia was trash. OoT had good variety and almost all of them were cute and likable, easily the winner of the three.
