There's no need to have a list anywhere near that size. My backlog's pretty crazy, but I'd just sell a bunch of it off if it ever approached that level. You reach a point where you accept that you can't play every notable game ever released, and you pick the ones that interest you most. Wizardry 8 might be a fantastic game, but you shouldn't force yourself to play the 7 previous games first, or to play it just for the sake of it being an "important" game for the genre. People have huge lists like that that span almost every genre, I don't believe you're actually interested in half of them. I'm sure a huge amount of people who stick Starfox on their lists wouldn't actually enjoy it.
