Any games with an aesthetic like this? Biomechanical body horror whatever?
Bump?
Do self-bumps even work still?

Both feature plenty of "bio", but they miss the "mechanical" aspect of the pictures provided.

Will check it out, thanks.

That's just ugly, mate. And doesn't seem like an interesting video game in general.

Bloodborne isn't mechanical but it's full of biological monstrosities.
System Shock 2 is the best answer to your question. Be sure to look up some texture packs for maximum spooks.

Sadly, I have already played (and loved) System Shock 2. But yes, you are right, it's exactly in the vein of what I'm looking for.

so.. chewed up bubblegum on a duct is biomechanical?
>VLCsnap
step it up senpai
>Metroid
is great for this. It's quite common in Super and Prime 1/2
>Dead Space 1/2
Most in the 1st but it's there in 2 aswell.
But there's nothing that's gonna satisfy you properly that you haven't already seen of heard of. The games I've listed involve heavy biological and technological elements and they often overlap, but the theme is never really "body horror" or whatever you're driving at.

this, fucking this
Recent SOMA
Not recent and not good Quake 4

The Dark Seed games have the aesthetic, but the games themselves aren't good.

I can't say it's as common a thing as I thought. Resident Evil, even the later games, spring to mind (Revelations 2 is actually worth playing even). There's also Dark Seed and its sequel, with designs by HR Giger, if you're into point and click adventures. STALKER has some biomech horror, but is mostly radiation based. Soma's also a good fit if you like running and hiding, though I wasn't really fond of it myself.
The future's looking like it has some potential, too. Inner chains seems to just be typical zombie shit from the trailer, but the technological ruins and weapons might imply something more to your liking.
At least that's what I'm hoping.
Worth keeping an eye on.

Also Scorn (pic related) still seems to be in development thanks to a private investor. Based on HR Giger's works, it's something I'm pretty interested in.

Inner Chains looks really nice, will keep an eye on it.
And thanks for all the answers, everyone.
