Also to expand on the fast fowarding sumika route part that the other anon mentioned. Sumika and Meiya's route are EXTREMELY similar.I didn't finish sumika's route because a bug where the game would crash at certain moments in some routes (this was an bug on the old versions that is supposed to be fixed in the new release), but I got halfway and it was literally 95% of the same shit, but not as good.
The character designs are pretty shit in this series.

Thanks. I probably won't skip anything. I'm very surprised to hear so many hate Extra and Unlimited, I'm only a few hours into Extra and am loving it. It's very charming and can be funny at times. I want to buy the Steam version because I like it so much, but obviously data from the fan translation won't carry over--when I get the Steam version I'll switch to playing that for the cards/emoticons/wallpapers, probably. I'm just used to VNs having a skip option in the right click menu, where nothing -needs- to be held.

I don't understand it either. Muv-Luv was fairly mediocre start to finish and Alternative had only 1-2 good moments in an otherwise poorly paced with shallow characters VN. Like, there's very little actual fundamental depth to most of the cast. And the theme of the story is laughable.
