I still remember the first pics from the magazine and the burger ad (DoFP era) and everyone saying the effects were cheap and shitty.
Then I remembered this part of the Apocalypse trailer when they said they fucked it up with the effects, and it now looks too cheap and CGIsh compared to DoFP.
The actual scene was not only great, but it was actually made mostly with practical effects and real set explosions.
