They changed all the night time levels except prologue to be in broad daylight (despite the book and original lore explicitly saying that daylight is suicide since eldritch abominations roam during daylight).
Removed volumetric lighting in most of the levels in favour of replacing it with global illumination, however GI on its own looks like shit without volumetric lighting to back it up making it a straight up downgrade in lighting department.
About half of character models got replaced with their LL equivalents, while other half has originals which is inconsistent as fuck and throws your out of experience constantly.
Gunplay is lifted from Last Light which is a lot more CoD-like. Stealth also has been dumbed down to babymode level and PRESS E TO STEALTH KILL.
Throwing knives.
Enemy AI has been simplified.
Suits have been removed.

It was buggier than FULLY PATCHED original PC release because development for this branched out from the 1.3 PC version, and PC had 1.4 and 1.45 patches during that time which fixed some remaining bugs that 1.3 still had.
It doesn't look worse, it looks objectively better, the just toned down the yellow tint and bloom so the already dated visuals are no longer hidden by them, they literally didn't touch the graphics at all.
Also it wasn't ported from WiiU to PC, DC was developed on PC and then ported to WiiU. There's fuckton of online comparisons that prove you wrong, WiiU version look considerably worse than even X360/PS3 version let alone PC version of Director's Cut.

They didn't fix it, they made it insanely forgiving. They removed all the challenge from it.
That's not the only challenge they removed either, for example you no longer have to worry about avoiding the things that bullets won't go through when shooting enemies anymore.

One lets you move immediately, the other is an unskippable cutscene which locks you into position.

As a massive Metro 2033 fan the biggest change in Redux that pissed me off was that you no longer could aim with throwing knives and that they removed armor. Nailing a heavily armored dude in the neck with a throwing knife was immensely satisfying in the original.
