Later on when Mark started doing more games that overlapped with the child demographic, he tapped into a resource of subscribers who have nothing else to do with their lives but go on Youtube and give him views, since then he started pandering to them.
I really don't follow internet celebs, but I do find the business mindset behind them pretty fascinating.

See, this is interesting, I recently started watching his newer videos, while it's true that he's over the top and loud in them, still, he actually does make funny videos now. It helps that he's become self-aware and does all of the yelling ironically.
