How deep are endless pits?
>>342586817
endless
>>342586817
Endlessly deep.
>>342586817ANOTHER GRUB HOLE
I can't think of any games where all the endless death pits actually have you fall for as long as you want before you chose to restart, so I'm going to assume they're just deep enough that you get fast enough that you die when you hit the bottom.
>>342586817
what is this
>>342586817
they go all the way to the center of the planetmans world
>>342586817
quite deep
>>342586817
They aren't endless. You'll be falling until you hit the molten core of earth.
That, or you'll suddenly be frozen in mid air when you arrive to the center.

Something something your mother
>>342586817
Well, you'd starve to death before you hit the bottom.
>>342586964
the ones in HL2 are pretty cool, they actually have bottoms and kill you through physics. If you turn on godmode and jump in you can run around down there
>>342586964
Microman on DOS did. I remember because I couldn't make it past the pit and kept watching my guy fall for minutes upon minutes.
>>342587020
Well obviously on Earth that would be the case, but we are talking about a hole in space.

>molten core of the earth
The mantle under the crust is already molden, nerd.
>>342586969
>>342586964
Terminal velocity is only like 1500 feet.
Don't need even a particularly deep hole for that.

In Mario Maker you can hear Mario falling on a metallic structure and open a door. I guess it's the whole stage play theme going on.
>>342587071
Oh, that.
Then it will be an endless fall.
>>342587074
OK, OK. Geez.
>>342586817
Deep enough to kill you, but there's always a path to go down safely with a treasure at the bottom.
>>342586817
far enough to take you to australia if you fall into one
