pretty much all of my memories from 1999-2003 are just me playing Ocarina of Time. i also played Goldeneye but not nearly as much.

I beat the mario 64 jpn version before it came to America renting it for hours at a time in a 'cyber' cafe at the Galleria Mall in Westchester. I must have spent 200 bucks for like 40 hours and it was totally worth it. Mario 64 is still one of the best games out there when it comes to solid gameplay.
I could probably look at a game cart and remember something easily.
But for the sake of giving something, playing Mario 64 for the first time in a TRU.

This game was my fucking jam .
I first played the N64 when I was 5 at a babysitter's house, I was friends with her two daughters and we played Mario 64. We didn't play it often though, mainly the snes, I was the boss at DKC.
I eventually got my own when I was 11 at a garage sale for 60 bucks, in complete box, came with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Pokemon Stadium, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2 and some shitty obligatory sports game all in box with manual, it was my absolute top score at a garage sale next to my free PS3.
Who have better emulation?
Wii or PC?

PC of course, Wii is still pretty good though, and has the advantage of portability.
Playing the stunt course on rush 2 for hours in the summer with friends trying to get the biggest combos. Double ramping off these things was crucial.

I can't complain about my childhood.
That was the first time I owned all major consoles in a generation.
I ended up with a Dreamcast soon after. Sonic Adventure and all those arcade ports were amazing. Can't forget to mention Shenmue. Got a PS2 for MGS2 and FFX. PS2 along with PS1, and SNES were the best. I ended up getting a Gamecube around the time Wind Waker came out. So much hate at the time. Then playing LAN Halo games in multiple rooms inspired me to get the Xbox. Then I migrated to PC when the PS3 was 699 USD. Eventually did get one for MGS4. Wii was cool too and I hacked the shit out of mine for maximum backwards compatibility. Nowadays all I have is my Wii U hooked up to my TV along with my PC.
Most of the time, a lot of fun was had. From the top of my head

>play deathmatch on Mario Kart with my friends
>play mini games with my sister in Pokemon Stadium 2
>F-Zero X was just amazing
>cheat the hell out of Star Wars:Battle for Naboo to be able to play AT-ATs or having infinite rockets
Pretty mixed feelings over here tho
>was never able to get gold medals for any advanced stuff in Pilot Wings, even silver was hard work, end up shooting rockets at the giant on Staten Island(?) all day long or flying around aimlessly with the gyrocopter
>switch language by accident and lose all progress because of it in Body Harvest, almost cry because I nearly was at the final level, took a loong time befrore I caught up again
>never beat the clock in Diddy Kong Racing, fucker must've cheated

First console I owned myself. Smash Brothers for hours and hours, then eventually Kirby 64, CBFD, Goemon, so many more.
