Can we get an SMM thread going? Talk about the game, post and play levels and give feedback.
When's the next costume course?course?

No idea. I hope we get an update soon.
Does anyone else think we could start another group project on /v/ or a competition on a certain type of level or something?
I posted this one here before but here's Crush Crawfish's level from Mega Man X3.

I just bought a Wii U, what is so special about this game?
I see a lot of people rate it

Basically, it's unlimited mario levels. Many are garbage, but there are lots of fun ones too.

Like the palette challenge? I'd be interested.

Here's a standalone course of mine, regulars in these threads probably played all of my levels by now though.

Pretty much unlimited replayability and making your own levels is fun even if the tools given are much more limited than PC Mario editors.
A lot of the levels are bad to mediocre, but every once in a while you find someone who does something ingenious and it pulls you back in. Overall I'd say the game just has a weird kind of comfy charm to it.

>it's unlimited mario levels
I don't think that would please me, I need some progression.
I done the first level on mario Wii U to check it out, i will pick it back up after finishing TPHD.
I used to make a lot of levels before but now I have lost all creativity and I feel that my latest levels are too bullshit.
How can I improve? People barely comment before giving up on the first death.
oops

Yes, something like that or a theme challenge or something.

You could post one of your levels and someone might give you feedback. I can't play right now but I could give it a try on the weekend. Or maybe I've already played some of your levels and could tell what I think.
Anyway, what I've learned in general so far is that random players are heard to please. They expect other things than the average 4chan poster.

Here is my latest level.
So far I have my friend who gives me feedback, but he is an advanced player so I don't know if normal people can beat it.

Blast your way to the goal!

They do give you challenges divided up by difficulty to clear a certain number of levels within 100 lives, so there's that.

I've noticed that I get very few actual comments in general, so I don't rely on them. I might not be able to give great advice on creativity since I've been preoccupied with my planned Kirby series for a while, but I've found it helps to just get a general theme for a level in your head (how I made Pyrotechnic Palace and Skewer Sewer) or just play lots of 100 Mario Challenge.

Bookmarked these. I'll try them later.

I'll give it a try on the weekend. But judging by your 1000+ stars, your courses seem to be prerry popular already.
