Dear developers who purposely make their games too hard: Fuck you. It's okay for games to be challenging but in the end things should always favor the player. Games are meant to be fun and it's no fun if you keep losing. We like to say video games don't make you violent but I sure feel like destroying something when a game keeps screwing me over.
But in all honesty, I do throw tantrums when I repeatedly lose at a game. Because if I fail at an insignificant game despite the advantages it offers (magic powers, good status, etc) that means I'll also fail that important real life things where such advantages don't exist.
Does anyone else ever feel like this?

Just games in general, but the one I'm having issues with now relies heavily on chance so there's no way to "git gud." It is possible to win but it requires all the stars to align exactly right which the game seems to take great lengths to ensure never happens.

By using my head and getting a pallet lifter since a forklift is too much for both of those things.
In any case, one just needs to learn to keep trying calmly.
If you give up, you'll feel bad, if you fail, you'll feel bad, if you keep raging you'll feel bad and also start to perform worse and worse.
Only succeeding ends on a positive note and anger is useless entirely.
Believe me, I've been raging at video games for 20 years now.
