The only flaw I saw with it is that you can't remap the movement keys (so you're forced to use the arrow keys to move and aim with Axl and shit). But keyboard remappers exist and other than that one issue I find the port to be perfect.

X7 has shit controls, shit level design, shitty camera and shitty hitboxes.
X8 tries to go back to the 2D sidescrolling roots with 3D models. It's fine but not that many things memorable about it since most of the regular stages are bland and there are not that many secrets this time around.
That said, the OST on both of these games is still great (high note being Jakob)

X7 was a horrendous clusterfuck of stupid design decisions - the swapping between 2.5D and 3D, the fact that Axl was an objectively worse X, the fact that there was only one armor, the "you must rescue civilians that can die and be LOST FOREVER", the list goes on. Additionally, it had a lot of really stupid and awful bugs.
X8 was considered good because... well, it was. It had neat levels, Zero and Axl got a ton of customization to match X's, X's armor system had a mix-and-match setup that was really fun to fuck around with, the bosses were fun, and the music was pretty good (especially Jakobs Elevator, holy fuck). About the only real downside to X8 was that there were two Ride Chaser levels, but IMO there was plenty of other "normal" gameplay to more than make up for it.
Oh, and you can play as the Waifu Squad. So that's fucking amazing.

Legends 2 was the only good one mainly because it's such a vast improvement over the first one in everything but world design. Legends 1 was an alright game only held up because of great cast, voice acting, and interesting world. Mechanically, it wasn't anything interesting special. The world itself and its characters were. Thankfully a sequel did occur that fixed all the flaws of the original.
I do love how both of you are getting offended because it's the last on my list. It's like you believe I'm saying the franchise is nothing but trash and there's nothing good about it. It's simply alright, but the other franchises have more quality titles to offer as a whole.
