I would say Jimbe to a higher degree, but even still, 3 'cool calm and collecteds' to the rest of the zany crew isn't that bad of a ratio. He'll be like the old wise uncle for the crew, some seniority wouldn't hurt the composition.
It'll also be neat for them to simply have a Fishman on the crew, especially since the Strawhats have had so much interaction with them throughout their journey. It'll be cool to see him as some kind of ambassador for his people. I think his moveset is unique, he has a legitimately different style of fighting which is renowned in the universe. It has a lot of potential to be fleshed out further, especially since a lot of the crew can't fight in water in Jimbe will make a new dynamic. So I've avoided like 80% of the future spoilers of One Piece and I stopped reading after Enies Lobby. Is it really worth picking up again? And if so, where would be the best place to read it in bulk up to the latest chapter (preferably not on some manga website)

i'm speaking from the fact we have a current character (Brook) who is already struggling to have things to do, and another character who this current arc will either pull him out of the shit hole or prove he's reduced to worthless (Sanji)
Luffy makes a lot of friends, and will need a lot of allies for the final battle, hence the alliance set up. but a lot of these people while extremely useful on practical levels, and for that final battle, are not useful for day to day on the Sunny story arcs.
You put Jinbei on the SH crew and he's going to just run into the same problems Brook does if he has nobody to consistently fight. Remove Sanji from the combatants roster, then yeah he can probably fit in about as well as the monster trio does.
