I think the problem with MN9 is the atmosphere it was released in. When compared to other game's we're getting nowadays, it looks incredibly lackluster. It's an arcade game and now people aren't really interested in those kinds of games. Of course this would be the case if Shovel Knight didn't prove me wrong.
