So I just started playing this series and this guy's probably one of my favorite character in it. I'm thinking about getting Gears 4 because playing the whole series would require an Xbox 360.
Do you guys think him and Marcus are still friends in the new game? Marcus looks like he's old and retired in Gears 4.

Probably not, I still don't know the results of C.Carmines vote. B.Carmine was a rookie who became so badass but was taken in the stupidest way. I like C.Carmine and I'm glad he survived but he didn't talk a lot or really leave an impression.

UE is one of the worst remasters/remakes I've played. Characters look worse, everything is brown, blurry, new cutscenes look awkward etc. When so much new stuff is added they couldn't make the gameplay like 3?

Also Gears 3 had a handfull of female characters, and Anya's kind of been commanding/helping Marcus since the beginning.

After watching some gameplay videos of Gears 4 beta, it looks like it will be a decent successor to Gears 3 in terms of movement and mechanics. There's definitely some stuff that needs to be touched up like the knifing though. Seems like it'll be useful as a sniper without a gnasher, but the animation takes forever.

It had the worst multiplayer at launch, and also added in a lot of new mechanics that pissed people off. Wall-grenades and slow-down specifically.
Sure they fixed a lot of those problems like smoke grenade ragdolls but it was too little too late.
