So, is Fallout 4 worth a playthrough at this point or has Bethesda fucked it up beyond repair? I know mods fixed most of Skyrim, anything like that for FO4?
I would wait until all the DLCs are out. the good mods are starting to come out now as well, so give it 3ish months until they are "perfected"

Nothing unbearably bad about fallout 4 can be fixed with mods unless there's a mod for recreating the entire storyline, pacing, script, and depth of interaction.
The actual core gameplay even in vanilla 4 ranges from uninspired to raucous. Nothing really terrible there.
