My honest opinion without any memeing or shit posting is this.
The series is surprisingly decent.
I was very close to just dismissing it as one of those that relies entirely on fanservice and cute girls for any sort of appeal. However, I would keep hearing that the game was actually fun.
So I tried them out and amazingly the games ARE fun! The characters are fairly interesting, although sometimes they reuse the same gimmicks and jokes too often. The story is decent, I liked it. I do feel like they need to change the theme or something, it's been going on for too long.
I genuinely enjoy Senran Kagura. It's the sort of thing that keeps surprising you. In fact, Shinovi Versus has one of the greatest boss fights of all time in my opinion. The final battle between Asuka and Homura was fun, challenging and moving. I've never played a boss fight against a rival character where it actually feels like you're evenly matched. It was beautiful.
If you're a weeb gamer, I really do recommend giving the series a try.

I enjoy them. The games are rough around edges, but they do keep improving. SK2 is way better than first game, and Estival improved on parts of Shinovi that needed it. Looking forward to what they'll do next.
I really like Ryobi. For supposedly being counterpart to Ryona's crazy masochism fetish, she's surprisingly sensible, even when compared to rest of the cast.
