I dunno, there was a sort of gentleness to the old Chie, they definitely feel like vastly different characters, New Chie is more Genki Girl, Old Chie is more Tomboy with a soft side. New Chie is good in scenes where she needs to be more active, Old Chie is better in scenes where she speaks more intimately.
