>Just let Platinum make every game ecksdee
>Surely if they work on 30 games at once ALL OF THEM will turn out good
Transformers Devastation was great
>>342441802
Devastation was pretty good though.
Sequel when?
>>342441802
Which is surprising since anything published by Activision that isn't CoD turns to shit, especially licensed games.
>>342441284
the amount of people asking for Platinum to "make every game" isn't even that large to warrant the thread
every dev has it's diehard fans, nothing new here
>>342441802
absolutely this.
Also, Star Fox Zero wasn't even that bad. The game was fine, what really killed it were the sub par graphics and the bad controls. But even with all of that, not even that bad.
I'm fine with them making small licensed games to fund the larger shit. Unless it's Scalebound, that doesn't look good.

pretty sure platinum mostly worked on the modeling for star fox zero, and took a backseat for the gameplay design
not that the game would have been much better if platinum directed it, or that platinum hasn't shat out their share of stinkers.
that being said, transformers was p good.

>the amount of people asking for Platinum to "make every game" isn't even that large to warrant the thread
The "let platinum make every game" was a stupid meme people kept repeating on /v/ for years. Then ot turned into "let From software turn everything into a dark souls game"

Ok thank you

>Starfox seems promising but largely held back by shitty pad controls (so I've heard, I'm not dumb enough to own a Wii U)
>Devastation is pretty good, provided it's as a $25 game or a Redbox game
>Korra looks like ass, level design is garbage and the story is nonexistent, but the combat is surprisingly goodand deeper than MGR's, contrary to what LE STANDING HERE xD retards would have you believe
>haven't played TMNT but visually it looks like Platinum's best-looking game to date, at least
They're definitely on a losing streak and Scalebound looked pretty bad at E3 but I wouldn't discount the studio entirely. They're still responsible for Vanquish and Bayo and Automata looks really good, they're probably just stretching themselves out too thin and not staffing their individual teams appropriately.
>>342441284
Transformers >>>>>>>>>>>> Korra > Star Fox > TMNT
>>342442396
>everything is a meme
Platinum isn't even that good of a studio but I think the reason people would say that is because no one else was/is really making that type of action game anymore.
>>342441284
Transformers Devastation was good, but the OP is right, the rest of those games are shit.
>>342442098
Star Fox Zero had some horrible, horrible levels (equivalent to Rogue Squadron 3) and was part of a franchise that had decent potential before shitting it away for the final time, at least until some former Nintendo employee craps out a Kickstarter ripoff in fifteen years.
Scalebound does look tiresome, I was excited about the whole Platinum 'game with dragons' thing too.
MadWorld, Infinite Space, Bayonetta, Vanquish, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, and Transformers: Devastation were all pretty good games (Wonderful 101 could have used a bit of menu and practice mode polish and Bayo2 fucked their combo system).
Nier: Automata might be good, we'll see.

I rented TMNT anon, and while the bosses and character animations are cool but the rest of it was garbage.
I don't remember the combat system in Korra being good, but I can't say I invested a lot of time into it when the rest of it was such garbage. I find it hard to imagine anything was good in that game.
Have Platina ever released a bad game?
I mean those cartoon adaptation was shit but counting only real game like Bayo, they're ok folk.
