Little Tail Bronx doesn't bring in the cash like licensed anime games, unfortunately. It took them a decade to get Solatorobo 1 greenlit and it wasn't exactly a huge success.

Strelka stories wasn't really a sequel. Its set in the same universe, and many, many years ahead (they were already developing spaceships and rockets in the game), with a new story and characters.
I remember hearing that the story would be a lot darker too, like if tail concerto was a kids' cartoon and solatorobo was a shonen, strelka stories would be something like cowboy bebop or neon genesis.

To this day I hope I can find another game like Solatorobo. When I bought the game, I bought it knowing practically nothing about it other than that it was anime-ish with furries. I went in completely blind and was utterly drawn in within a few hours. It just shocks me how close I came to never having ever learned about this game, which was so packed with atmosphere and great characters and a beautifully crafted world, with great dialogue all padded in between.
It does make me wonder if there are other games out there which are packed with this charming personality yet run the risk of slipping into eternal obscurity?
