Worth a watch. Season 1 is pretty alright, but season 2 ramps everything up to 11 and is fucking amazing.

I found Wakamoto's delivery too stereotypical of the deep booming anime villain arch type. I found the English VA far more crude and gutteral which made him sound more distinct. I wouldn't say he was a mook butEgile'svoice definitely had a more authoritive vibe to it. Metal Face was more of a thug.

This smarmy asshole is the fucking best. He does some fucking horrible things so you truly feel like you need to stop him, but he's so damn funny and charming you smile every time he pops up. My favorite villains are the ones who pester and shit on you throughout the game, so the final beatdown is all the more satisfying. 10/10 villain.

Kreia, though she's a villain, she's not quite the antagonist, as everything she does is in the interest of strengthening you, or validating her own ideas. Definitely a bitch, but goddamn driven and for a very good spiteful reason.
Sarah Kestelman and John Cygan in Kotor 2 have some of the hands down best acting i've heard in vidya.

Dubs like Xenoblade Chronicles that use a british pool of actors or stage actors, or at the very least have enough budget to break into the acting pool that western cartoons can afford turn out decently.
I don't think I can name a single instance where rage, anger, or spite doesn't come off delivered terribly in dubs that have to rely on the usual dub acting pool. Atlus manages it part of the way but they'll only nail 4 characters and get lazy with the rest (fuuka).
Even the acting in in Bebop's dub is shitty whenever they try to take the plot seriously, while it works everywhere else, and it works in Metal Gear because it comes off as wonderfully hammy.
