Persona 4 in Japan wasn't a SMT game as Persona 4's title was ペルソナ4. Only the English Persona 4 had the SMT name. SMT was also dropped from Persona 5 in both the west and the east.
So some of the most popular SMT games aren't even SMT games in the east. Tokyo Mirage Sessions tries with the play of words, but you guys are autistic about a thing that's basically been dropped.
