That's only 71C, anon. Unless the outside of your case is reaching 71C you have nothing to worry about, modern components can handle up to 80-85C regularly without issue.

Also even here in the midwest, in a 60F basement, my pc reaches 70C under load.

under max load i hit about 67c for my video card. processor maxes out at 55-60c it seems. idle temps are 35c for processor, 35-40c for video card (no fan running at this point, doesnt run til shit hits 60c).

just cleaned it a week ago. had it 1 1/2 year now. still going good. temps are excellent (i think?)

pic had gta5 running in the background.

>>
>>342380190

As long as you have solid airflow, don't smoke near your computer, and dust it once every 1-2 years, you'll run cool forever.

Expensive fans are only to reduce system noise, there's very little difference in a cheap fan and an expensive one otherwise.
>>
>>342375801
Liquid nitrogen is not even feasible to use, ridiculous overclock benchmarks use it once. Then the processor cracks from such an extreme change after you shut it off as it warms up.

just to be clear I'm talking about these things http://cfnewsads.thomasnet.com/images/cmsimage/image/air-compressors.jpg

there are attachments you can usually attach that will collect the moisture from the air collected, now that I think about it I'm not actually sure if I bought one or not for the compressor, I might have just thought about it and not bought one.

Anyway they look like this, they go somewhere along the pipe before your actual nozzle so it catches moisture before the air spews out.

hope that helps at least a little, its 5am here and I'm going slightly retarded.

To answer your question, no the closer you get to the equator the warmer and consistently warm it becomes. As >>342382203 said there aren't really any seasons around the equator, it's all just one hot blend with very regular rain, which is why the tropical rainforests of the world are all more or less centered around the equator.

Especially since we're fresh at the start of a new console generation. Now's the time to buy stuff mid-high tier stuff that will truly last for 2+years minimum (3+ for the high tier).

7xx series has been fed to the gullible, it's time we get the 560ti of this generation.

If you saw the thread above, you'd know I have an AM2+ mobo with only a 4x PCI-E slot. So to make us of any of the newer cards, I would have to upgrade mobo. And since I have an AM2+ chip, I'd upgrade the whole rig. It's why the comment you replied to has a whole list of items to buy.

Even so, you're not looking at "thousands of dollars" replacing everything.

and you should be replacing everything if your computer is too old to handle even bottom of the line cards now.

The one I'm currently using cost $600 6 years ago and I'm still able to update parts to keep it relevant.
