I say this as someone who loves DOD3 but the game became a literal slideshow in some parts. Special missions where there's tons of enemies just make the game shit itself. I was playing it for reasons other than just gameplay so it didn't bother me too much but I can see how it would infuriate some of my "60 fps or go home" friends.
It's certainly nowhere near as smooth as DMC3.

I've been playing Drakengard 1 on and off the past few days, and I gotta say it's not as bad as some people make it sound.
Sure the gameplay is basically "run up to enemy groups and spam square and occasionally triangle until they are all dead" But I like seeing weapons level up and change in appearance, and the aerial missions are pretty cool. It's least a 6/10 (with 5 being average, not 8)

What is annoying about all this is that dragons are capable of fighting against the flower which also shares similarities in design with the queen and watcher constructs. So why would "gods" which supposedly created at very least dragons and the watchers, give a prophecy to destroy a creation that was their own? Then make the queen to replace it, with the queen using the same type of magic?
Ultimately none of it adds up and the further down the hole you go the more the crazy characters start to make sense.
