Todd Howard talked about es6 with IGN and here's what he said:

"[Elder Scrolls 6 is] kind of like the elephant in the room, always, when we talk about anything," Howard explained, "and you know, I think it's good in these moments to tell our fans yes, of course we are [working on it] - it's something we love - but it is... you know, I have to be careful what I say, it's a very long way off.

"I could sit here and explain the game to you, and you would say, 'That sounds like you don't even have the technology. How long is that going to take?' So it is something that's going to take a lot of time, what he have in mind for that game, and we actually have two other large projects we're also doing that are bigger than everything we've done. Maging and Conjuring were the only reason why Skyrim was playable. Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood were good too. Unfortunately, too many casuals are gaming and need their hands held throughout the game, so it'll be some watered-down ARPG not worth replaying, let alone pay at least $60 for.

My prediction will be that it won't come out until 2020 considering that it's been officially stated that Bethesda Game Studios are working on 2 other games that are coming out before TES 6 that they haven't even announced yet and that the TES 6 they want to make is not currently doable with their current technology. Also Pete Hines officially stated that they haven't even started officially developing TES 6 and that it's still in the concept phase.

Considering that's 4 whole years from now any other predictions are kinda pointless right now.

Shit isn't coming out for a long time and I doubt it will look anything like Fallout 4 considering the time gap. In the meantime look forward to some new IP that Bethesda shits out over the next couple of years to buy time while they bolt some more shit onto Gamebryo and give it a new coat of paint in preparation for TES 6.

I hope that it will be Valenwood, and I hope that its not going to take too long to release, Bethesda is insane if they think normalfags will still give a shit about TES if they only release it some 3-4 years from now

The entire thing is highly WWI trench-warfare themed, with a large part of the map a blasted wasteland carved out of the lush forest. This would be cool if light and heavy armor would still have different pros and cons.

Like heavy having more phys. damage resitance but slower movement/stamina regen, and light having more magic resistance and faster movement and stamina/mana regen.

This way it would be possible to increase DT as the game goes on, but you would have to pick more health if you want to melee as a mage oriented character, or just go full magic and hope nobody ever touches you.

In Skyrim magic user had more effort put into it than melee combat. Instead of:

I personally didn't like Skyrim's storyline. Can't wait to get away from those god damn annoying nords randomly talking to me saying "I used to be an adventurer like you, then i took an arrow to the knee"
The dragon crises was cool for a little while, but i would've rather had a less cliché subject for the main story.
Overall though i really don't want them to even start creating another TES game until they come out with more lore and stories in TESO so they can cross reference.

After making this post I just got really excited for what is too come in the coming years of TES.

The Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2: Summerset Isles

Skills:
Weapons - The more points you have in this skill the better you are with all melee weapons and ranged weapons. This skill now also governs all your armor. It makes more sense since we make stamina into stealth for this game.
Magicka - The more points you have in this skill the better you are at casing all spells

Until someone stands and try to bring the competition to Bethesda (and I'm amazed noone has tried yet) they won't wake up.
CDProject doesn't count, Witcher 3 was cool and all but is not really the same kind of experience people who play TES want.

You are correct, right now Bethesda can do what they want because they offer a unique experience regardless of quality. If that were to change they would be in trouble though.

Yes. They admitted that the voiced MC was a fuck up.

It's highly unlikely that they will do that again. For all Bethesda's faults, they do listen to complaints that is given by their audience (and by that I mean the normies, not the several additional complaints given by /v/ but not the majority, luckily the normies also didn't like the voiced MC).
