>Make sure you download the right files
>Make sure you put everything in the right places
>Use the sysupdater thing in homebrew to update to 9.2
>Realize it won't happen the first time and you have to do it over and fucking over for it to work
>Turn off ds when it finally works
>Open up pasta, go back into homebrew with the exploit, install menuhax
>Make sure you select autoboot or the option that lets you boot up by holding a certain button
>Make sure it fucking works
>Make a backup copy of everything on your sd card
>Go back to homebrew, go to the emunand9 partition thing, read the instructions
>Make the copy of your NAND, then select the option that lets you dump NAND to NAND.bin
>Then do the part that lets you clone NAND to EMUnand
>When it says it will wipe the sd card, let it
>When it's finished, copy everything back from the backup you made
>Once you can get into the CFW of your choice, make sure the installer works and then install tinyformat to your sysNAND with fbi

Hardmod is the only way now. Wait and hope there's another exploit found to avoid that otherwise. Depending on where you are, you might be able to pay someone to do it for you.
