I played it when it came out last night. I don't know exactly how many maps there are, but that's not really a big deal because the gameplay is varied enough. There are two modes, but it seems like a lot more. One is a 3 v 3 deathmatch where players only have one life, and the other is a 3 v 3 mode roulette thing. First team to reach three points wins, and it goes in rounds. Every round is a new game mode. Kill zombies, pick up a briefcase, kill the enemy, hold a point on the map. If you win, your team gets a point. There are herbs, but you use them on pick up and it instantly heals you to max.
I'm actually impressed by the game. I thought I'd dislike it because of the animations, but it's actually really fast paced and surprisingly tactical.

I'm really surprised by how much stuff there is in terms of customization. I'm rocking this neat little pistol with a scope that fires in a three shot burst, but that burst is so fast it literally seems like only one shot. The last two matches I played were weird. First one, I absolutely destroyed with that gun, headshots everywhere. Second match, it seemed like everyone was invincible. I literally couldn't kill them, I was either missing every shot or they took less damage, I don't know which. It's so fast paced I couldn't tell, I love it.
Destroying zombie jammers helps a lot more then I expected. Those zombies are aggressive, especially dogs.
