why does everyone think that being able to get out of the phone room is a bug. the dude appears every time after you grab the key, they show you the house is unsafe, there's all sorts of noise and fucking shit. someone needs to watch the vhs tape a second time after answering the phone call, collect every item and really test to see if you're watching the exact same video(girl appearances/water running/food in pot/inside of fridge/bird in microwave/piano lid open/noises/character dialogue, everything). after the phone is answered the house is unsafe, get out of the damn phone room and back to the TV and rewatch the tape, note if you see the same ghost girl appearance as the first time you watched it, everyone knows the spawns, there's 7 chances to see her, she has to spawn the second time you watch the tape in the exact same spawn otherwise it's a different tape
