Yeah, and although this is a controversial opinion, los santos has been absolutely the best setting of any GTA game so far. It blends together all the worlds of crime so well, from ghetto hood shit, to redneck hillbillies, to fucking professional heist shit, and it was mirrored in the three characters as well; Franklin Trevor and Micheal respectively. Los santos as a city is amazingly designed, the social commentary was amazing, blaine county was amazing and the amount of detail put into it was amazing, I just loved everything about the setting and environment of V.
Wherever the next GTA takes place, I don't think it can top Los Santos in my opinion.

I agree, the atmosphere is GTA 5 is top-notch and the environments and landmarks are quite varied. The alien mountain stands out in particular. I think that GTA 4 is up there too, the drab gray really suited the dark tone of the story, and Algonquin in particular is very beautiful at night. I don't feel that the social commentary in 5 is that good; it felt like they were trying to hammer the jokes into your brain rather than letting you draw the humor from them, though I did really like Steve Haines' show, wish we got more of that.
Never really been a fan of most of the GTA games' radio stations overall. Only songs here and there. The only one I'd say I actually liked was the new wave station in VC.
They're still better than the shitty playlist garbage Watch Dogs had. That was awful.

You had PIL, the Clash, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Operation Ivy, and actual music punk and then you had Agent Orange, Black Flag, The Vandals and they were more "out there" because it wasn't really about the music.
