Shooting felt bad, movement was clunky, story was boring, anything to do with vehicles was just fucking bad because they controlled like shit and got caught on everything, no interesting soundtrack, voice acting was uninspired and forgettable, viable weapon selection late game boiled down to a handful of guns. I never really got the appeal of BL1. Maybe I am missing what makes the game great but I just remember terrible car physics, horrible UI's that made buying ammo a hassle, one of the most disappointing endings with an end game boss that is just a bullet sponge, and wildly inconsistent drops such as getting a level 23 gun in a level 8 area. I just do not see the praise for the game

I honestly would have never bought BL1 if it weren't for the opening song, which I had never heard before and instantly fell in love with. The game was mediocre though and just plain fell apart in the last act.

I also enjoyed BL1 a lot.
It can have a slow start because if you're not lucky, the most likely scenario, weapons in the beginning will be bland as hell, and not as common, but thanks to RNG so can be weapons late-game, I enjoyed the concept regardless. Story was hit and miss, mostly miss than hit, but at least it was subtle enough so you could ignore it for the most part, could be mildly amusing at times though. The UI was a disaster. Ending sucked, DLC was ok.
BL2 improved a few aspects, but also screwed on plenty of others, especially noticeable in the long run. Plus started the whole cringefest regarding "writing" and "story" thanks to Burch and friends. DLC was ehh.
TPS is just unbearable past 5 hours because of how extremely cringey it gets, if it's not some lame trying-way-too-hard-to-be-funny dialog/character, it's a half-assed reference to something as a joke attempt.
It is unfortunate because there ara few mechanics that appear to be interesting, plus also seems like it "fixes" a few loot drop issues existing in 2.
BB looks like shit, might give it a pity-try if it ever becomes F2P, but I could never understand ASSFAGGOTS at all for some reason so might end up dropping it right away. That forced single-player "story" seems on the usual level so that might speed up things considerably.
I hold no hopes for BL3 at this point.
Fuck Gearbox, really, I sincerely hope somebody besides Bungie/Destiny gives a new serious attempt at the Diablo/FPS formula.

What did that translate too? 1 out of 20 that played the beta bought the game on PC, Xbone, PS4. Total sales did not even add up to 500k across all platforms. What the fuck does that mean?
