Mount and Blade is fun. Controls take some getting used to, but once you learn to time and parry you'll have no trouble at all.
Get Warband, start with Native, and move on to Floris. There are other mods like A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire), Last Days of the Third Age (LOTR). Prophecy of Pendor's tough and fun for vets, but the dev's a huge cunt, if that colors your perception.

As far as most people can tell, Roy was pulling the strings on the lessons and teachers this whole time, forcing his ideals and dated ways onto the puppets.
Red Guy quickly became aware there was something going on and left while he could, attempting to adapt to the modern world only to fail, coming off as childish and awkward.
Green Duck started questioning what was being told only to be immediately shot down, and then attempted to make Red aware of what was escalating after he left and was silenced in the process.
Yellow Guy didn't know better until he was already broken, and despite his protests to stop with the bullshit it never ended.
At least, until Red pulled the plug. Roy finally realized he was fucking his son up, and instead of stopping Red after his attempts to help Yellow, he simply allowed it all to come to an end.
Supposedly, everything was "fixed" once the plug was pulled, if the puppets being their favorite colors is anything to go by.
Or the cycle continued, but who knows?
