Blizzard has already said they dont want 1 hero limit because no hero limit adds strategy, the OP is a faggot. There is also no way to enforce 1 hero limit even if they changed their minds in ranked unless they did a separate full party ladder.

Here's where I think it's going to turn to shit. The main reason TF2 lasted (and still going) so long is BECAUSE it's a casual game where you can just log in, shoot people and be shot at, and then leave when you're bored. It'll still be there when you want to come back.
Overwatch wants to be the next big competitive thing, however it has a same design of being casual, not too hard to play, but it's advertised as competitive. What will happen here? You're going to jump into ranked and you'll have this mix of people who either try too hard or don't try hard enough.
Who's the latest OP character? If your team doesn't have two of them you'll have somebody barking at you over VOIP to switch whoever you're playing to whatever the current meta is

because there is a 1 hero limit in actual competitive play. "Competitive mode" aka ranked is not actual competitive play. Tournaments have been happening for 8 months now and Blizzard has not had input on rulesets. Capture maps are banned as well and KOTH maps are vetoed 99% of the time as well, probably wont be long before theyre banned since the maps are just so poorly designed. Very easy for the winning team to just snowball and push up towards spawn and its plain retarded.
