Which one should i get?
both are available for PSVita in the store. have never played a Castlevania game before, but i love metroid.

SotN is a "metroidvania" while Rondo of Blood is not, but (unlike SotN) Rondo of Blood is a good game. I haven't played the remake but I'd still recommend it over SotN.

The Dracula X version of SotN is almost identical to the PSX version, but with remade voices and an added Maria mode. The downside is that the sound is pretty horrible.
Also, unlike what >>342145614 said, Saturn specific items or areas are not available and Maria plays nothing like she did in the Saturn port.
The Dracula X version isn't really supperior to the PSX version, but eh, you can't complain about having 3 games in 1.

Depends on your perspective. Hardcore classicvania fan that believes Metroidvania killed the series? Hell no. A huge fan of metroidvania? Most likely yes, although some like Aria of Sorrow more for example (Honestly I prefer SotN much more. It's just way more fun to me.)

Eh, depends on who you ask. It's certainly one of the most popular entries, kind of like how Final Fantasy 7 is the most well known FF. I'd say the Castlevanias on DS are where it's really at and Castlevania 1 and 3 are the best of the classic style. But I don't think anyone will say that SotN is bad game so that's gotta count for something.

The previous one changes color palettes of Juste and Maxim for no reason and doesn't remove the glow from bats, this one is better since it doesn't touch their colors but removes the glows from them and bats.

first LoS was a fun game and I think it was a good approach at adapting the platformer castlevania gameplay to 3D, MoF was a bit "meh" but not bad, LoS 2 was a piece of shit.
