If it is the best modern puzzle game, it is not because it was a puzzle game. The puzzles were the worst part of the game. There were too many of them and they got very repetitive. Difficulty wise it was okay. The all stars ending was not worth the effort though.

Have you played the DLC? Its better than the main game. The Puzzles are harder and the star ending is worth it

The story of the DLC takes place whilethe simulation is getting destroyed at the end of the main game
You play as one of the Messengers (the dudes who help you on a puzzle if you stuck) and you are sent to rescue all the programs ELOHIM banished to a pocket area for disobeying him. And all the programs have been locked in cages with computer terminals and live exclusivly through online messages boards.

All you gotta consider is you are artificially doubling your resources.
And most of the time, you can just leave shit wherever you want it if it doesn't involve a carry plate, start the recording, sit there or maybe stand on a button and enjoy the environmental noises for a minute or two, then stop it and take care of everything by yourself in real time.
Some of those DLC puzzles, though. Those were fucking brutal.

I think the bad part isn't the difficulty, is that sometimes you need to wait for the x time you want to do some shit so if you go to quick you get fucked and if you get to slow you have to wait again while playing

I've never been fucked being too fast in a Time Clone puzzle.
Cause there's nothing like "in the past, turn on a fan, turn it off, get a Carry Plate, stand on the delivery location of the fan, then in reality, manage to get on top of it using the fan you turned on in the past and then get carried to the brick/Star."
At worst, I was too slow. At best, I was a few second ahead.
But eh, I guess depending on how you do it, it is possible.

Infinifactory is WAY better. Talos was too easy and on top that it had a shitload of filler puzzles. Whole game should've been like the DLC.
