You can play with the keyboard and the game does cater to help, but it's better if you atleast play with a controller.
Grow Home is comfy as hell but it's too short wish it were longer. The only thing I didn't do yet in the game wasgetting all of the 8 seeds that show up after you reach the top.

Don't feel bad. Terraria is chock full of garbage NPCs that fill up all your cute houses, but you absolutely need enough houses to get the 2-3 dudes that are actually worth having around. No one really has time to build homes for shitters like the robot, witch doctor, or tax man.
But having all but 2 rooms be totally plain wood is super boring and lazy. It takes way less effort to make more attractive looking wall(paper) than it does to chop all those trees. Even if you went like 40ft out of your way for boreal or beach wood it'd look 100x better.

When I play Terraria, the first thing I do on a new world / new character is create a commieblock. I know the bare minimum requirements to make a house as small as possible, and I make it out of the shittiest, most common materials possible. I actually pride myself on giving my NPCs the lowest quality of life as possible.
