Probably typical for a PC CoD... there's a cheap option to buy the MP segment alone for like $15 or so though, so maybe it's more active than AW or Ghosts ever was.
You can't prestige or play anything except multiplayer without buying the full game though. You do get a $15 discount on the full game if and when you decide to go and upgrade.
It's a great game anon. It's very very "gamey" at it's heart and it's stronger for it.

This is serious garbage anon. You're out of touch if you think it's imbalanced. Sure, the M8A7 and VMP are comfortably the best SMG and AR, but the game's balance overall is really really good. I can dominate a server with any weapon I want within reason

That's a PC only problem. On PS4 I have no such issues.
So it's not perfect. It's still the best CoD had ever been and might ever be. I fucking love this game. I know I'm gonna be playing it at least for another year.

Jesus christ maybe you can get into the maps but i truly cannot. I have bo3 and the first map pack. The only good maps are Infection, Nuketown (obviously), the other snow map ( cant remember the name for the life lf me), Skyjacked, and Gauntlet. But skyjacked doesnt play well at all with bullshiy danger zones existing for no good reason at all.

You cant explain away the killstreaks. Everything is shit until you get to the hatr which is easily shot down, AIDS/RAPS, and everything above RAPS is functionally useless/too much score to obtain. No one rocks mothership because raps does everythinng you need ms to do, plus an early raps always ensures that the other team backs out of the lobby.
All the specialist streaks are "lol one hit kill" there is no variety.
The specialidt abilities are functionally useless except for glitch, kinetic armor, and thats it really.
No need for overdrive when everyone moves retard fast anyway.
No need for psychosis
No meed for rejack (literally git gud, tac inserts are for scrubs)
No need for vpulse when awareness/dead silence exist
No need for active camo, git gud
Mo meed for heat wave when concussions are already fucking broken

The variety is huge. Especially in application, they all play differently. The idea is that they're objectively the strongest weapons in the game. Anything less than instant kill would be shit.

I'm really having trouble taking your competence at the game seriously. You didn't even mention Vision Pulse or Heatwave which are objectively extremely powerful. Heatwave so much so that it had to be nerfed.

Somebody spotted you. Activate overdrive and run a flanking route in 2 seconds flat and melee him in the back while he stares at the corner he thinks you're still camping behind

Scorestreaks target the clones and it's incredibly useful for flushing out campers. Psychosis is hard to use, but it's really good. It even sees play in CoD World League

Literal wallhacks are always better than halfassed shit. I can line up a headshot from behind cover and kill you instant when I pop up if you're pulse tagged.

It's not about need. It's just really strong. It won't trick anybody for longer than a second or two, but that's way more than enough time to murder anybody in a big way. Fucking forget how amazing it is for countersniper work

Heatwave's radius is easily 10x a concussion and causes blindness too in addition to destroying equipment. It also damages them so they can be killed in a single melee hit. Also, nothing in the game can protect you from it. Tactical Mask >>>> Flashbangs/Concs
