Sadly no, not many. You could argue Stamper and Oney have their youtube thing with Sleepy Cabin and making Battle Block Theater and shit, but really only Edmund went on to make a game that's viral as shit.
A lot of the big name guys like RicePirate JohnnyUtah and stuff just kinda...dabble. Shadman even stopped posting on newgrounds really all his shit is on his like 4 websites now. You'll find some popular people still posting on newgrounds but really the majority just do it on youtube then decide "oh yeah I'm technically a newgrounder might as well upload there too"
