free to move around the space station. some horror element. upgrade system of some kind is just the standard of singleplayer game these day. and some of the staff are ex looking glass.
a lot of red flags from it for me. reboot of a franchise that has literally one game, and just calling it the same thing as the first one. cinematic black and grey trailer trying to be spooky, super generic black blob enemies. protag looks like stereotypical nathan drake ripoff guy, but thats not so bad since he probably wont be seen or heard very much.
also of course the context is the worst part. i was really looking forward to Prey 2, the theme looked like a combination of Blade Runner and Cowboy Bebop, two of my favorite things ever.
i'll wait for gameplay before i decide if im completely uninterested or not

Prey 2 looked fucking dumb, and people on /v/ said the same exact thing when it popped up, the feed back was fucking AWFUL for it, yet /v/ will tell you it was going to be the next big thing.
Prey had nowhere to go with a sequel, Tommy lost his family, and his woman, and the only thing that happens at the end is "you are a hero, lets go to another planet and fuck"
At least this way I may get Event Horizon the video game.

I have never, seen anybody excited to play Prey 2 in all those years, it was always "flavor of the month" and lucky if we had a thread on good under rated PC games, Prey would show up.
