Try and explain yourselves out of this one, PCucks
>yfw all the idiots that fell for the gaming PC meme when they could've just gotten a PS4
>>342037401
The only difference I see is you photoshopped a 30 in one and a 60 in the other.
Does it really matter if a game runs at a constant stable 30 over fluctuating 40-60?
>>342038031
It doesn't. Framerate is just a numerical value that is easily determined to be less or more than the perceived "best" value.
It's easy to post about how 30 is less than 60 because 30 is less than 60. It's harder to argue about gameplay for game A being better or worse than gameplay for game B. And shitposters will always take the easy route.
>>342038031
It does for plebs not on the variable synch train yet.
Get on it, so smooth and your computer can now (if you have a high hz screen) function at it's highest potential without having to worry about having to hit a V-synch point.
>>342037401
60 is twice as much as 30
what is there to explain ?
>>342038493
>Framerate is just a numerical value that is easily determined to be less or more than the perceived "best" value.
In reality, however, a higher framerate means less input lag.
>>342039483
It does, and in most cases, 60 is preferable.
What I failed to say, however, is that 30 is usually perfectly fine, too. Only certain sub-genres truly require 60 fps, or more, to be played optimally.
>>342038031
No because mine runs at a solid 60 because I don't build meme budget PCs like the retards of /v/
>>342037401
Look. Shitposting aside. You know, and I know, and everyone knows that the PC version runs at at least 50 fps. I have the PS4 and PC the community is better on PS4 ad it's more active, but on PC it runs way better.

>tfw I play on 1440p @ 120Hz
you can't even imagine it OP
>>342037401
Wow, this still image of the game has completely told me. I especially love how they're unlabeled and show no benchmarks of any kind. What a fool I was!
>>342040838
Is 120 worth it? I'm ok with 1080p, I don't really care much about higher resolutions.
>>342042601
if you have a card that can run that high I've heard nothing but good things.
>>342038493
>less input lag
>smoother animations
>smoother camera
It's not just a higher number, it's objectively better. Games at 30 fps feel like a slideshow to me, though that depends largely on the type of game.
>>342042601
not him, but i have a 1080p@120Hz screen and it is wonderful
newer games require a very beefy GPU (i'm running a r9 290x)
some games are locked to 60fps anyway (dark souls 3 included)
it's really awesome for faster paced games though, rocket league is fantastic with it
even if your gpu isn't fast enough to hit 120 in everything, even getting to 90 is a significant improvement over 60. the difference between 90 and 120 is a lot less noticeable than the difference between 60 and 90.
>>342037401
I've played it on both extensively. The consistency on ps4 is nice but it looks so much nicer on PC and seems to be more reactive. Also, it might just be coincidence but PC players seem to be a lot better at the game, ignoring hackers of course. I've got characters at lvl 80ish at the pvp area and I have much more fun on the PC version just because more players on the ps4 are chugging roll spammers that more often than not are oblivious to the intricacies of pvp.
Load times really piss me off also, they are near instant on PC but are sometimes as long as 20 seconds on ps4.

>this
its why i run rocket league and counter strike at 120fps despite having a 60hz monitor
