It's almost as if they knew mods would be a thing before launch date. Maybe Bethesda realizes they can give us the more bare minimal game, and then rely on people to work their asses off making mods to fill in the weak spots.
Bethesda needs to have an official list of mods that they recommend fit within their lore, because as of right now there are anime mods, nudes, bears playing guitars, and Randy Savage dragons.

Due to having a shitty PC at the time, I only played Skyrim 2 years ago. I liked it a lot, but there are massive weakpoints.
The start and ending are quite bad. It also annoyed me massively that after you defeated the main evil dragon dude and killed around 200 Dragons, they are all just still flying around.
I HAD played Morrowwind previously and found it superior storywise even though obviously things like the GUI have aged horrendously.

The first RPG is always amazing. The whole idea of an RPG and an open world is kind of impressive when you haven't been exposed to it yet, so when you first play one it kind of takes you back. DD and Skyrim are completly different games.
The combat is way different, the way quests are done is different, the way the story play's out, the boss fight.
And from my experience DD felt way more rewarding to kill something big.

yeah, its class system was a little fuck up (while leveling). The game makes you feel awesome when you kill big shit. You feel the epic when you kill a boss, sub boss or just random big shit (ogres).
In Skyrim, killing dragon turns into a shore and feels boring after a while. Even killing Alduin feels meh when you compare it to some Dragon Dogma fights (MOTHER FUCKING GRIFFINS!)
