Just beat Doom (2016) and Rise of Tomb Raider. What else is there (PC only)? Been working my ass off so I didn't get a chance to play anything that's come out in the past 6 months. Last 2 games I played before that were MGS5 and Mad Max.

Something single player unless multiplayer is really fresh and original. FPS, RPG, adventure, racing, few others. I like most genres except the MOBAs - just never really have the time to get into them I guess.
I loved the new Wolfenstein. That's what encouraged me to get Doom.

I think that the new wolfenstien did regenerating health right. If you're below 20, you go back up to 20. It was just enough to survive while keeping it tense.

Yah. They rebooted the oldschool shooter genre quite well. I was a huge fan of COD4 and military shooters when they got good in the early / mid 00s but they started getting so damn repetitive, I had to drop them. New COD games feel like shovelware now. I picked up COD AW just to see what I've been missing out and the answer is not much. Same old fucking shit.
I hope we get more games like Doom and Wolfenstein. I'm a huge fan of WW2 and alternate history - that theme made new Wolfenstein so much better.
