The best thing about the games (or at least in the case of the stick of truth) is that the jokes were all intentionally timeless. There was nothing topical, and it will all still be relevant in 10 years time, unlike the TV show.
Show the TV show to your kids in 20 years and nearly all of the jokes will fall flat, hell you probably won't remember why most of them are funny either.
