I've been ignoring everything about it for ten years. I didn't pay attention for years because there wasn't much to pay attention to. I didn't pay attention for the last couple because I knew it was still a long way off and it's Final Fantasy, I've been continuously disappointed with them since Final Fantasy X. Lately I've begun to think it might be fun though. Still not even cautious optimistic however, because this is S-E and modern Final Fantasy we're talking about. About the only games they put out that I like is Dragon Quest.

Can someone confirm that the ravage animations don't loop infinitely any more? In some videos I've seen Noctis do his sword combo ending with a finisher while the enemy wasn't anywhere near death. I don't mean manually waiting till your weapon disappears for a finisher either. It was clearly one string. If so that makes the battle system way better.
It looks pretty good from what we've seen but there is still a lot of potential for it to go wrong. It's hard to say if they avoid showing anything from the later game because they don't want to spoil it or because they don't have a lot of confidence in it.
Luna is killed by Ardyn when Noctis manages to reach her.
