You're probably too young to remember, but the only shit worth playing on the PS3 in North America by June 2009 was Valkyria Chronicles, MGS4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Even Demon's Souls hadn't been released in the states yet.
It was a fucking garbage console until about 2011.

Not OP, but yeah. The PS3 sucked for a while. It was an easy 3rd place with its $600 launch price and no games. I'd say the turning point was around the slim version's release in late 2009. I remember getting Uncharted, Arkham Asylum, Motorstorm, and LBP then.
