Recently I've discovered Project Brutality. I thought people were just memeing but it's so much better than standard Brutal Doom it's not even funny.
What cinched it for me was simply having a dedicated melee button outside of quick kick. I love quick kick but now, even when I only have a pistol, I feel like a fucking madman shooting, kicking, punching and knifing shit nonstop.
