Whatever even happened with Xenoblade Chronicles X?

I remember seeing constant posts about how amazing it was going to be, videos of stunning open world and graphics for the Wii U.

Then it came out... and nothing. I don't remember seeing anything about it. At all.

Was it actually good? Where was all the talk about it? Legitimately curious because Xenoblade Chronicles was great.
>>
Pound of bricks?

No fucking shit. Yes, I get the joke, but sense the bricks are smaller they have more density thus have more mass.

This joke was always dumb if you knew simple physics.
>>
>>341821994
There was metric fucktons of talk about it when it came out, what are you talking about?

>Was it actually good?
Yes. Except the ending. Dressing up potato-chan will always be fun.
>>
>>341822776
>There was metric fucktons of talk about it when it came out, what are you talking about?

Huh. Guess I somehow missed it. Kind of reminded me of Titanfall with all the buzz and constant threads, then absolutely nothing after the game had come out.

>Yes. Except the ending.

Well that's good. From what little I did hear about it, it was mostly negatives, then nothing at all.
>>
>>341823004
there were bump limit threads up almost 24/7 for weeks
>>
>>341821994
>Was it actually good?
That depends on what you liked about the first game. It had the most enjoyable exploration of any game released in 2015 imo but the story and characters were bland and forgettable.

It was a game I liked well enough for the 80 hours I actually played it and then the second I finished it I never thought about again.

I know m8 but as you know a pound sterling weighs exactly a pound imperial, which is why its called a pound, and there's 18 pennies to a pound too.

Simple logic mate but bear in mind since you can buy maybe like 20,000 bricks to a pound (sterling) and more like a million feathers to a pound (imperial) then really the answer is pretty obvious even though they weigh and cost the same, because bricks are heavier.

The feathers.

Because in addition to the feathers you have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds.
>>
>>341824436
Ah. I see.

Feathers because they occupy a larger area and therefore have to carry the weight of the atmosphere over a more wide area than a pound of bricks.

LOOK YOU IDIOTS THE REAL ANSWER IS BRICKS

SEE BRICKS ACTUALLY WEIGH FIVE POUNDS ON AVERAGE SO EVEN ONE BRICK WILL BE FIVE POUNDS, WHEREAS FEATHERS ONLY WEIGH A FEW GRAMS, SO YOU CAN GET EXACTLY ONE POUND (BY CONVERTING IT TO BUTTFUCK BACKWARDS MIDDLE AGES IMPERIAL MEASUREMENT FILTH) OF FEATHERS BUT ONE POUND OF BRICKS IS ACTUALLY FIVE POUNDS OF BRICKS

The photo question is a trick question, a pound of anything will always be a pound. It's a standard unit we use to measure weight. I have a good feeling the majority of the posters in this thread are just pretending to be retarded.

E3 was alright, honestly the best one I've witnessed in a long time. Could always be better and it could always have way less cringe moments, but then we'd all be bored.

You don't have to. You live in an industrialized world where getting food is trivial unless you farm dirt in fucking africa.

>>
>>341825768
That's circular logic.

Some people keep pigs as pets, and pet pigs can be pretty affectionate.

What if I raised a dog from birth, in a tiny muddy pen in the dark where he fattened up off scraps and never got any affection, with future plans to eat it? Would that be okay since that was his purpose from the start?

I've tried both, of course. And I'd never eat a pig or dog that I raised as a pet, since I'd be attached to that specific one, but one I've never met is fair game. Humans were meant o eat meat.

If that makes you feel better then its no skin off my nose. I just sincerely hope you don't use the same excuse in real life. Addressing a vagary is not answering a riddle, especially when you can still very, very easily arrive at an answer. Thus, partial credit, and 0 marks. Don't worry though anon, just demonstrating that most people only succeed at "St.Ives" because they've heard the basic answer before and immediately question the nature of the riddle, rather than actually applying logic to it.

I'm not claiming the riddle is perfect, but again, it would have only taken the briefest effort to think "if we assume this, then Y, if not, X" and then I would have handed you a bloody medal.

You must not have much experience with riddles if you think answers like many people gave are out of the ordinary. Any holes in the story are immediately suspicious. Every word is potentially important. Having a "from" and "towards" is usually very important, but you failed to specify that the man and his wives are walking towards St. Ives. You only mentioned that you met them. This is an incomplete riddle.

You could just as easily turn around when someone says 8 and go "0! hahaha I never told you which direction they were walking, loser!"

Do you understand?

>>341825523

The pound of feathers, because while the bricks and feathers have the same weight, you'll never get rid of the weight of what you did to those birds for the feathers.
>>
>>341826593
You might have a point if it weren't for the fact that many riddles rely on the the person making assumptions based on tricky wording. Hell, the original version of the riddle relied on the assumption that the man with the wives wasn't going there.

Pigs will do it if they think they can get away with it. If you have a cat or a dog, you should know that they see you as a walking meal and eat you if they so much as think you're dead. What's stopping a human like you?
>>
>>341827495
There will always be people who want to eat animals because animals are delicious. Even people who say they care about animals always make some shitty hypocritical excuse like "well they were raised to be livestock, so it's okay" while tying to tell other people they can't eat animals of equal or lesser intelligence.

We'll always eat meat because it's delicious and we're on top of the food chain.

You can't get through life being a bleeding heart who throws a fit over every bowl of Chinese cat soup.

Much better than last years. A lot more actually new things this year, rather than a bunch of 5th and 6th sequels to everything. Everyone was pretty strong save for Nintendo, but they seem to be placing all of their chips into this new Zelda, which frankly might convince me to buy an NX just for that alone. RE7 probably got my attention the most because I've never seen a game series this established take such an unexpected turn, which is at least refreshing. I'm optimistic to say the least.

4 skinned ferrets
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Butter
1 cup Sherry
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 jar sliced mushrooms

Cover whole ferrets with flour, salt and pepper. Brown in melted butter in heavy skillet over medium-high heat until nicely browned on all sides. Remove pieces from skillet and arrange in oven casserole with cover. When ferrets are browned, add 1 cup white wine or sherry to skillet. Then mix in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of celery soup, and 1 jar sliced mushrooms. Mix well and bring to boil, then pour over ferrets. Cover and bake in 325-degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until done and tender. Remove ferrets to serving platter and pour some of the sauce over, and serve the rest alongside. Serves 4.

Apparently E3 this year was sexist because there weren't enough female protags.

Even though by quickly scrolling down e3recap.com I counted 64 games with female protags featured.
